Hand crafted using your choice of Burmese or Plantation teak, the seat features 1 and 3/8 inch teak battens that have been rounded for comfort, spaced for perfect drainage, and hand sanded for a silky finish that is still slip resistant. Both the frame and all of the mounting brackets are made from heavy duty stainless steel. When properly installed per ADA standards, onto a wall backing at between seventeen and nineteen inches high, this unit can hold up to three hundred pounds. The unique shape of this bench, and the ability to fold it up and out of the way when it's not in use, makes it very convenient when maneuvering in and out of the shower using other mobility devices.
